Anno Kent Dry Gin is handcrafted by Anno Distillers, Kent’s first micro-distillery and the first to distil gin in the county for over 200 years.
Based and produced in Marden in the heart of the Kent countryside, Anno responsibly source many local botanicals to give the gin a superb taste of Kent. Botanicals include samphire from the Romney Marsh, lavender from the National Collection at Downderry nursery, locally foraged elderflower and rosehips, and sweet aromatic hops grown by specialist local producers. Developed by three scientists, (Andy and Norman, ex-pharmaceutical chemists and Kim, a biologist and Andy’s youngest daughter) Anno Kent Dry Gin is a super-smooth 43% gin made in Patience, Anno’s unique and specially designed 300-litre copper-pot still.
We recommend drinking Anno Kent Dry Gin in the same way you would enjoy a premium whisky; neat, with ice or a dash of water, to appreciate the intricate aromatics of the spirit on the nose. The spirit should be swirled all around the mouth before swallowing to allow the full range of complex flavours to develop across the taste buds over the course of a few minutes. For the more traditional drinker, Anno Kent Dry Gin also makes a fantastic G&T when combined with a premium tonic, such as Fever Tree Indian Tonic, and should be garnished with samphire and lime.
