This quintessential fruit with it's matte indigo colouring, peppers the Kent orchards and hedgerows with beautiful white blossom in April and full ripe fruit late August through to September. Once prepared and bottled the damson liqueur puts it's feet up, gets comfortable and continues to develop and mature in it's new glass house. The taste is fruity and tart thanks to the fresh whole English damsons which are steeped in gin. There is a nice balance of sweet and sour with rich plummy notes coming through. Made with London dry gin, it is recommended that the Damson Gin liqueur be consumed undiluted over ice, or mixed with some fizz for refreshing taste of the Kentish countryside. Best stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. No additives or preservatives used. No allergens. ABV 24%.
