This wine is fine and delicate, the perfect example of the versatility of Scala Dei’s black Grenache grapes. Its fragrance, freshness and fineness are due to the high altitude clay soils found on the northern side of the Priorat.
The grapes used to make this wine come from some of the highest areas of Scala Dei, where the clay soil retains its acidity and ensures the grapes freshness at harvest time. The vineyards are both old and young, predominantly from the northern and eastern sides, between 500 and 600 meters high.
Very pale in colour, it allows us to guess that although it comes from black grapes, it will be closer to a white wine. Bluish hints on the border shows a faint grey colour to the edge, and is very attractive to the eye.
Aromatically, it is the subtlety of the red and tropical fruit, fine and delicate as the vineyard where the grapes come from, citrus tones that make it fresh and invite us to try it again. In the mouth it is an explosion of freshness and sensations, strawberries, grapefruit, aniseed tones. Refreshing mouth and wraparound finish.
