This delight of a pink fizz is produced using the best Raboso & white grapes grown in local vineyards in East Veneto, Italy. First fermentation occurs inside steel vats at a controlled temperature, where selected yeasts are then added. The wine becomes bubbly inside low-temperature pressure tanks and this delicious sparkling rosé is born.
In the glass the bubbles are lightly evanescent, but with a fine and persistent perlage. The rose color is delicate and light, reminding of the colour of a peach or rose blossom. When you come to taste, the aromas are intense, fruity and complex with notes of floral and ripe passion fruit. There is a pleasant acidity and a fresh flavour on the palate which is full-bodied, but with a pleasant and harmonious taste. This pink fizz is excellent as an aperitif or served with fried vegetables, seafood salad, and fish courses in general. It's also perfect for a celebration or to take to a party as something a little unique.
You'll notice the striking hand drawn design on the label of this beautiful bottle. 'Sentio' plant roses in their vineyards to act as a warning of any disease in the vines. The lady on the label is Rosa Aurea, the Goddess of Prosecco.
