Alleanza IGT Toscana is intense red in colour showing purple tones. Aromas of black pepper, cloves and ripe fruit flavours jump out. On the palate, ripe fruit notes are accented by some delicate savoury characteristics and a vegetal finish. Perfect with braised meats, games roasts and aged cheese. A wine in perfect balance between the old and new world style. Grapes grown to speak Tuscan. This wine is sourced from our estate vineyards from sites where Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grow best. With its rocky, marl-rich limestone and clay soils and moderate climate, these vines thrive in the singular terroir of the Chianti Classico region, producing grapes that give the wine its rich, dark fruit characteristics. It is one of our Supertuscan award-winning wines – among the IGT Tuscan wines – offering the highest quality performance outside the DOCG appellations.
