Viña Vik Winery La Piu Belle Rosé 2023

Ideally perched on a hilltop in the middle of this most picturesque valley, with the Andes mountains in the distance, Vik Chile boasts 360-degree views out across the surrounding vineyards and nature. Its floating, sculptural roof of bronzed titanium, which was inspired by the mountains, the wind, and the work of Frank Gehry and Richard Serra. Viña Vik was founded in 2005 by Alexander Vik, a wealthy Norwegian who works and lives in the US. Vik is known for his boutique hotels and as an art collector. Together with his wife Carrie, the goal has been from the start to make a top South American wine. In 2023, VIK took 3rd place in the world’s best vineyards. An extremely prestigious award that has elevated VIK to iconic status.

Energetic and elegant, La Piu Belle Rosé is fruit-forward, Cabernet Sauvignon gives the bouquet ripe red berries and round tannins on the mid-palate. Cabernet Franc adds accents of graphite and floral scents of lavender and violet. Blended, the present notes of summer stone fruit, apricots, and passion fruit with a surprising hint of citrus on the finish.
