A boundless curiosity and a passion for craft. That combination is the golden recipe behind all beers at Duvel-Moortgat. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of our family brewery, they launched a limited edition of Duvel Distilled 2 years ago. Thanks to the resounding success and our continued dedication, they are releasing a Duvel Distilled 2023 edition .

Everything starts with the essence of a Duvel. The pure Duvel brew is our starting point. This brew is fired in copper stills and then double distilled. At this point you may recognize the whiskey production process, but Duvel Distilled is so much more than a distillate. Not only does Duvel beer provide a balanced starting point. Duvel Distilled also transcends any standard category due to its aging in oak barrels specially selected for the occasion.

The maturation in Marsala barrels will tickle your nose with spicy aromas of vanilla and cloves . That aromatic strength is supplemented in your mouth with fruity accents . Even after ten years of maturation, Duvel's balanced character remains recognizable. Furthermore, in Duvel Distilled 2023 you can taste the full flavors of cherry, apricot and raisin. These different layers of flavor together form an elegant harmony in which the expressive wood character provides structure and a complex aftertaste.
