Since the 1860’s the McGuigan family has lived and worked in the vineyards of the Hunter Valley. Three generations of the family have made wine their lives and their spirit and commitment towards modern Australian winemaking continues today. Premium parcels of fruit from famous regions across Southern Australia were blended to produce the balanced the style and flavour profile to this harmonious wine. The fruit was crushed and de-stemmed and selected parcels were fermented on French and American oak prior to blending. The final blend has then seen further Heinrich American oak to balance the fruit-oak profiles.
