Masseria Borgo dei Trulli Salice Salentino 2021

90% Negroamaro, 10% Malvasia Nera. The wine displays a deep violet colour, with pleasant earthy aromas of blackcurrants, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is velvety, elegant and complex. The finish is extremely well-balanced and persistent.

The estate lies in the commune of MARUGGIO, in the province of Taranto. Close to the Ionian seaside. It is in the central part of the Salento region, in the prestigious area of Primitivo  Manduria DOP. The Estate takes its name from this traditional buildings. Dry stone huts which were mainly used as field shelters or storehouses by Saracen populations hundreds of years ago.
