Veglio Angelo Barolo 2019

Angelo Veglio is renowned throughout Italy for his brilliant and expressive Barolos.

A small grower, the vineyards of his eponymous winery are planted over the south-east slopes of La Morra in Piedmont. a location that is quickly gaining a reputation for producing some of the best wines in the region; attractive, with a fruity core.

The Angelo Veglio Barolo bears all the hallmark flavours of the style: complex earthy and violet notes, with floral and spiced undertones. Yet, it is remarkable for a distinct lightness and fruitiness, typical of wines grown around La Morra, that really set it apart from the crowd.
