in 1927 natural blackcurrant wine was started by the founder of the company, Balys Karazija. Today, it is made according to the same recipe from carefully selected berries grown in Lithuania. The semi-sweet wine has a rich color and a perfectly balanced taste with a lingering aftertaste of black currants.
This wine goes well with red meat dishes, stewed game, cured boar ham and sausage, long-aged cheeses.
The recommended serving temperature is 14-16 °C. Suitable for preparing mulled wine drinks (boiling is not recommended).
