Vinification and ageing The grapes, picked at just the right stage of ripeness, are crushed gently and the resulting juice is then fermented on the skins for 8 - 10 days to encourage extraction of the colour and polyphenolics.
Colour Deep ruby red.
Bouquet Fine, with morello cherry, forest fruit and violet scents.
Flavour Dry, full-bodied, fresh and delightfully tannic flavour.
Serving temperature Serve at around 18° - 20° C.
