This Chardonnay has stone fruit, fig and subtle citrus flavours, balanced by toasty oak. The fermentation of this wine took place partially in tanks and oak barrels, which enables the oak to play a supporting role without overpowering the delicate fruit character. This is a particularly ripe tasting vintage due to the weather in 2015. A warm and sunny spring was followed by above average rainfall January. Dry weather in March however help the ripening and delivered good yield and good quality grapes.
