Expressive and well balanced, the essence is in the detail of this wine: from the gentle structure on the palate, with vibrant acidity finely harmonized with aromas of currants, strawberries and spices. A refreshing pleasure with every sip with its extraordinary delicacy and elegance. The colour is light peach blossom, on the nose the aromas are fine and fresh with blackcurrant and ripe red fruit followed by splash of floral notes (rose and hawthorn). The palate has a creamy mouthfeel, and fine and continuous pèrlage, the finish remains aromatic with a long persistence. What is VSQ? This stands for Vino Spumante (Aromatico) di Qualita This unusual designation is used for sparkling wines where secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle. For "Aromatic" wines for example using moscato at least one month is required but for others such as the Albarossa at least 9. VSQ/VSAQ is only used if the wine does not qualify as DOC/DOCG, typically due to non traditional grapes or grapes sourced outside traditional zones (as in the case of VSAQ Prosecco)
